The Magnolia consists of two houses sitting side by side with a shared garden area. The Main House, which was constructed in 1996 along territorial architectural lines, contains the main kitchen, sitting rooms, and the Magnolia room.

Further south lies the 1890 Cottage with its two bedrooms and separate baths. There is also a small shared kitchen and informal living area connecting the Garden and Cherub Rooms. The common dining and living areas of the Cottage are friendly places to gather and meet friends.
